Just like you, we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to work smarter, not harder. Sometimes … okay most of the time … that means something needs to change; and today’s change is how we do the Inside Line.

Strategy by HikingArtist.com on flickr

In addition to the Inside Line, each of our team members has an active online presence for their unique business. We have unique blogs, Facebook business pages, online portfolios and videos. We’re walking the talk – doing the things we advise you to do everyday – because these things work. Of course, and thankfully, we’re also busy with client work.

Here’s where the working smarter part comes in: Rather than writing (or attempting to) write an additional two posts per week on Inside Line, what if we called attention to this mountain of content we’re producing elsewhere? Inside Line will still focus on small business marketing tips, but now you’ll see more from the design, photography, and copywriting perspective unique to each of our businesses.

If you read this blog in an RSS feed reader, you’ll notice more frequent updates – hopefully now on a daily basis. But if you’ve subscribed via our newsletter sign-up form to receive updates by email, you’ll receive updates only once per week. We’ll compile four or five articles before sending it via email.

This idea dovetails nicely with the topic of the latest post on The Richardson Copywriter, by Zero To Sixty Marketing team member, Susan Hamilton. She calls attention to the difference between the online presence of your website and a website marketing strategy. Read more on The Richardson Copywriter.

Enjoy your day, moms. We know it has NOT been an easy ride – this roller coaster called parenting has seen the fastest spins and the quickest up-side-down maneuvers that any life could lead.

But you held on. You didn’t let go. You silently screamed, “LET ME OFF THIS CRAZY THING!” in your small voice when all you could do was trust God … while you hung on for dear life.

You applauded their style and commitment while you secretly questioned their judgment. And you prayed. A lot.

You spoke candidly when you had the opportunity to share your wisdom with them, and stood back up when their defiance knocked you over.

And it was worth it. Just look at them now. It will never be over, so we can’t ever say, “We did it!” But we can say now, with the wealth of understanding we’ve gleaned from seeing the things this journey has shown us, that we will never be the same. We will always be better for having taken that ride.

For stepping up to the plate. And for never letting completely go …

The moms of Zero To Sixty Marketing wish our fellow mothers a peaceful, memorable and joyful Mother’s Day.

More Applause:

Last September 2008, Zero To Sixty Marketing LLC was launched. We had been talking this business concept for some time, and by the time we set up our website, well…let’s just say it was knowingly less than optimal! The idea, of course, was to run on the ‘under construction’ clause on the home page while we managed the work already coming in. We figured we’d get back to our own appearance as soon as we had the chance. Guess what? Time passed, the prior contracts took center stage, and before we knew it, a year had passed.

This ain’t no Pinto! Being around forever torn up and abused in someone’s driveway is NOT our mission for you! We want you to be a clean, mean, driving machine-shiny and thoroughly operational under the hood while your exterior shows the world that your company is head and shoulders above the rest. That’s not a fast thing, it’s a quality thing, and we’re proud to be able to offer you exceptional value for your exceptional appearance.

We’re not your typical marketing company, so maybe it makes sense that we’re launching a Web site backwards … publishing it first, finishing it later. Sometimes you just “gotta’ do what you gotta’ do!”

We launched Zero To Sixty Marketing LLC with projects in-hand. No time to waste on start-up tasks … it was full-speed ahead right out of the starting gate!

Who or What is Zero To Sixty Marketing, anyway?

We’re a team of independent business owners, working together to help small and medium-sized businesses attract more customers. You might think of us as a virtual marketing firm. (You may as well … that’s what we’re calling ourselves!)

Why Virtual?

There are two main reasons we chose a virtual business model.

It allows us to offer you affordable prices. We have less overhead, so we pass our savings on to you. In fact, you get the power of a working with an agency, but at freelance rates.

Every last one of us are free spirits and (don’t let this scare you, but) we do our best creative thinking and planning outside of an office!

We’re also a cohesive team. We come together for brainstorming and strategizing. You just can’t do that stuff alone! Then we go our separate ways to get the work done.

It works. It’s efficient. And you get the best of both worlds.

In the days to come, we’ll introduce each of our team members, reveal a few details about our plans, and begin posting useful articles to this blog. We’ll also be building the remainder of this site behind the scenes. If any of this sounds interesting or helpful to you, we hope you’ll subscribe to and/or bookmark this blog.
