Indeed, finding a perfect icon for your business is quite difficult. The designer has to be able to put himself in a customer's situation and imagine what does a customer needs, what does he like, how can the company attract more customers? But if you are working in a team, a manager for example can give you information about this and then the designer can do the creative and unique icon.
It requires efforts and investigation, but it's totally worth it!
