Don’t Waste My Time, I’m Working

A couple of years ago, I thought everyone was actively using social media, but me. I thought I was behind, but really didn’t care too much. I thought I worked with businesses peculiarly difficult in this area, and that I could influence them a little at best, and would continue to try, but mastering this monster would probably take a new hire in our organization. I didn’t try very hard because I knew I struggled with it, too.

Our wonderful and faithful website clients know that when you contract with us to build your website, we teach you how to use it, too. What good is just building you the website if you don’t know how to use it as your central marketing tool, right? We want you to know how to use your tools.

So those of you who haven’t set up those time frames to learn what you need to know might be falling behind a little. If you’re not using your blog, your website is doing absolutely NOTHING for you, and we NEVER want that. If that’s you, call us right away.

Yes, it does. And while it’s important online, many businesses don’t realize how good Facebook is for their reputation offline, too. Being able to say to a prospect, “You should connect with us on our Facebook page and learn more about our company” is a nice follow up when you haven’t quite sealed the deal. Do You Understand Customer Life-Cycles?

Checkered Flag.Most people would agree, they want their customers (most of them anyway!) to return. Learn their habits and you’ll improve the odds.

Engagement and relationship are words so overused, it’s difficult for me to say them. There are no other words. They matter, they work, and in today’s marketing environments they must be mastered. Your business is always a service, and you’re always serving people and your community with it.

If you’re not, people will know and not come back and share their experiences with others because they have mastered relationship and engagement!

There is a clear line in the sand. It’s simply not efficient for selling to be your number one goal right now. You must sell to make more money, but to do that and truly serve your market you need to be very aware of their needs and share that everywhere while they develop a trust with your company.
