Happy Monday! Did you know that the difference between growing companies and stagnant business is often a business owner’s ability to create and focus on objectives? On our Facebook page, we’re spending more and more time talking about action steps to help you recognize what it takes to grow BIG businesses, and it really starts with clear vision. Focus.
It’s not uncommon to believe that your company is as big as it can be and all you need to focus on is keeping it alive, but we want our readers to grow large enough to hire and impact real change in America. Your business can enjoy serious growth, but you’ll have to wrap your head around it.
This Monday, Zero To Sixty Marketing wants you to think about growth differently, and make some goals that will require you to really stretch. On Friday, we’re going to ask you to assess this week for areas in your business that can be managed more successfully.
Today, outline things you’ve been putting off because you’re unsure how to move forward to do them. Write them down. Close your eyes for a few moments and think about how you want that thing to end up, focus on the end result rather than your first steps. Give yourself until Friday to get this goal done.
Now, for your goal to be accomplished by Friday, what has to be done by close of business Thursday to make it so? What has to be done by Wednesday for Thursday to materialize the way it needs to?
Walking backwards in your mind will help you clearly see what has to be done today to meet your deadline.
On Friday, you may have made your deadline, or not. That will depend on whether or not you took yourself seriously and took command of the situation with clear focus. Don’t beat yourself up if you miss it this time! Friday’s post will discuss how to manage that, too.
Now get focused, and be successful! Can any of you share your action steps with us in the comments section? Writing them down and making them public might be the accountability factor you need! Go ahead, share – and post your answer on our Facebook page, too.
