Ever search for something online and find 3-5 returns of basically the same information for each company?
It can happen to you.
It’s not uncommon for me to hear a business owner tell me how ‘the industry does things this way’ and recognize that a marketing message is way too similar to the competition.
Nobody wants to risk being misunderstood by their customers.
I get that.
But if you can’t set yourself apart quickly with your blog title, text, and message – you risk sounding like everybody else. Blogging, press releases, articles, and social media updates should be constantly pointing to the unique value that is ‘you’.
Would it surprise you to know that many people refuse to use the first three search results on any page because they assume they’ll all contain the same convoluted information? Yeah, people get sick of that.
Don’t mirror your competition.
