As this year winds down, we’re feeling a bit contemplative … thinking about the ups and downs of 2014, and planning for more of the ‘ups’ in 2015. It’s been a good year for us. How about for you?
We’ve been on the road now for nearly 1-1/2 years and our business and lives continue to evolve. We’ve learned to squeeze a little play into just about every workday. In central Florida, that means the workday is usually broken up by a mid-afternoon swim with friends. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t hard to get back to work afterwards! But we remind ourselves that both the fun and the work are activities worthy of our attention, and it doesn’t hurt that the work is actually something we really enjoy doing.
This past year, we’ve exhibited at trade shows and modeling events across the USA on behalf of our customers. In fact, if there’s a plastic scale modeling event or hobby related trade show anywhere near our driving route, you can bet we’ll make every effort to be there. It’s good business for our customers and something we truly enjoy doing.
We’ve learned a few things along the way that I want to share with you today. (more…)
People still judge a book by its cover. We all do, whether intentional or not.
The same thing happens day in and day out on your website. It’s a visible representation of your business online. If it’s amateur or outdated, it leaves a bad first impression. It may even leave your audience wondering if your business is trustworthy.
Wow, it’s been six months since my last post! No excuses … this is not the way to run a blog, and not the way to put the best face forward on our business. Long story, short … this is the first of many, many blog posts that will again deliver to you the Inside Line on Getting More Business. (Don’t worry … we haven’t gone from semi-annual posting to daily. It’ll be more like weekly or semi-monthly.)
